National Coalition Building Institute.  Developing Leaders.  Ending Mistreatment.  Strengthening Communities.

About Us

NCBI Missoula is dedicated to building a more just and inclusive society by developing leaders, ending mistreatment and strengthening communities. To accomplish our mission, NCBI develops leaders equipped with the skills to reduce prejudice, prevent violence, and resolve conflict in their community.

Established in 1998, NCBI is the only Montana organization working to engage community members as leaders with the tools to eliminate oppression and strengthen communities. Started as a volunteer-run organization, NCBI currently has three paid staff, two AmeriCorps VISTA's, one intern, and more than 60 active volunteers.
